About The Position

Under the general oversight of the Communications Supervisor, this position coordinates communications for CCRC’s service area. The Specialist is responsible for the development and distribution of press releases, newsletters, fact sheets, brochures, web and social media campaigns, and other marketing materials. This position collaborates closely with Communications team members, CCRC staff across departments and locations, and with external partners supporting agency priorities, projects and events.

Requirements

Associates’ Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media or a related field.
2+ years professional experience preferred in communications, public relations or related field with a history of content generation.
Demonstrated computer skills to include knowledge of online research, website analytics and social media, advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, and database management experience.
Up to 20% travel required. Will consist of travel to and from agency locations, community events, internal and external meetings or events for coordination and agency representation.
Staff members driving on behalf of CCRC may choose to drive a CCRC vehicle or own vehicle and must meet requirements to be an approved driver including holding and maintaining current auto insurance, current California Driver’s License and DMV clearance required.
