Personal Care: Med Tech
About The Position
The Enhanced Living Nursing Assistant/Med Tech is charged with providing essential support to the Enhanced Living residents and will assist with medication administration and treatments in accordance with the Department of Human Services Personal Care Home regulations. Messiah Lifeways is looking for a Part Time, night shift Med tech to support the hours between 10:45pm and 7:15am. Ideal candidates must be willing to work rotating weekends and holidays. As a Nursing Assistant/Med Tech, you will encourage and support residents to be as independent as possible, assist residents with personal hygiene, transfer residents as needed in addition to assisting with treatments and therapies, ensuring residents take their medications and serve as a role model for all Nursing Assistants.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Successful completion of certification from the Department of Human Services Medication Administration Course
- Ability to provide appropriate documentation for Med Tech certification.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant (PCA) experience
- Formal nursing assistant and med tech training
Responsibilities
