About The Position

This position requires an individual who is a registered Medical Technologist (MT) or eligible for registration with ASCP or equivalent. Prior experience in the field is preferred, but new hires may be trained into the position. The role involves meeting on-call requirements, including the ability to respond to the facility within specified time frames. A current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification is mandatory, with new employees needing to certify within three months of their hire date. The position also demands strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, basic computer and clerical skills, and the ability to interact with others tactfully and professionally. The ideal candidate will express ideas clearly, creatively, and succinctly, and must be flexible for shift rotation within the department.

Requirements

• Currently registered MT or eligible for registration, ASCP or equivalent.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
