About The Position

We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our care team as Medical Technologists. Whether you're new to the field or bring years of experience, we provide the training and support you need to thrive. We have part-time positions available for all three shifts. As a Medical Technologist at Nippenose Valley Village, you’ll play a vital role in supporting resident care and facility operations. You’ll assist with evaluating, selecting, and implementing medical equipment, while also providing personal hygiene and daily living support to residents with compassion and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include properly coordinating specimens and ensuring accurate identification, reporting patient observations to nursing staff, and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. You’ll contribute to a positive team environment by helping orient new employees and fostering collaboration. Additionally, you’ll report equipment issues, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and consistently demonstrate reliability and care in your daily duties. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication, empathy, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull over 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Technologist certification preferred.
  • At least 2 years of related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
