About The Position

The Lead Med Tech Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with the American House philosophy and all written policies and procedures governing the Resident Services Department. This role involves assisting in the coordination of effective communication among Resident Associates, residents, and families, and maintaining a liaison with residents and family members. The supervisor will provide residents with personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, administer medications and treatments as per doctor's orders, and ensure proper documentation and record keeping. Additionally, the role includes completing housekeeping, dietary, and life enrichment tasks as needed, interacting professionally with staff, visitors, and family members, and complying with company policies, standards, and licensing rules. The supervisor will also perform other tasks as requested by the Wellness Director.

Requirements

  • L1MA or CMT
  • Experience as a supervisor in senior living
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both residents and staff.
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, carry 40 pounds and to move about the community quickly in order to provide emergency assistance to residents.
  • Maintains a safe environment for patients and co-workers, transports patients and equipment as appropriate.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, TB test and physical.

Responsibilities
