About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate PRN Medication Technician (Med Tech) at The Ivy of McKinney, to provide as-needed coverage across all shifts. This role is essential to ensuring residents receive medications safely, accurately, and in accordance with state regulations and community policies. Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English through speaking, reading, and writing.
• Demonstrate empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work flexible PRN shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the dynamic needs of our residents.

Nice To Haves

• Prior caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication to residents according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain resident medical records in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor residents for any changes in health condition and communicate effectively with the care team and families.
• Providing compassionate care, ensuring the well-being of our residents, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
