Medical Technician/MLT Performs analyses on blood and body fluids to aid health care providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients. Moderate and high complexity testing may include manual or automated techniques using sophisticated instrumentation.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT)
- Will accept MLT/CLT students graduating within six months
- Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent is required within six months of employment
