About The Position
Cache Valley Assisted Living is looking for compassionate, fun, energetic individuals to join our caregiving team! We are hiring both CNA's and Med Techs for part time and full time positions. Noc shift 11pm-7am.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
- Experience as CNA/Med Tech
- Good communication skills, such as being able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals
- Ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
- Possess a love for the elderly
- Have a positive and compassionate attitude
- Background check required upon hire
- Food handlers permit required upon hire
- CPR/First Aid certification required upon hire
- TB test required upon hire
Nice To Haves
- CNA Certification preferred, but not required
- Ask us about the possibility of getting your CNA certification while working here!
Responsibilities
- Caring for elderly residents
- Assisting residents in all activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Documenting and notifying RCC and nurse of any changes or concerns in residents' condition
- Performing all duties assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator
