About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Med-tech’s and Caregivers to join our team. As a care associate, you will provide assistance and support to residents in an assisted living facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Requirements

• Certification as a Med Tech or CMA
• Experience in providing direct care to residents in an assisted living facility
• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Proficiency in administering medications and accurate documentation
• Ability to assist with meal preparation and serving
• Skill in engaging residents in activities
• Understanding of proper body mechanics and lifting techniques for resident transfers
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized living environment
• Observational skills to monitor resident behavior and report changes
• Collaboration skills with healthcare professionals
• Emotional support and companionship skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately
• Assist with meal preparation or serving meals.
• Engage in activities with residents.
• Assist with transferring and lifting residents using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
• Monitor resident behavior and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for residents
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
