About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in Akron, Ohio. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a night shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel assignments
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License required
- AHA BLS Certification
- AHA ACLS Certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Strong telemetry and acute care skills
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking abilities
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assess, document, and communicate patient status and changes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain compliance with patient safety and quality care standards
