About The Position
Carroll County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Med Surg RN or LPN for an hourly PRN position. The hospital's mission is to improve the health and well-being of the residents and visitors of Carroll County and surrounding areas by providing quality, compassionate, cost-effective, and convenient healthcare. This role involves providing skilled nursing care, administering medications, monitoring patients, collaborating with the healthcare team, documenting records, educating patients and families, and following safety protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree from an accredited School of Nursing (required)
- Current licensure in the state of Kentucky (required)
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Certification in area of specialty (preferred)
- One to two years clinical experience (preferred)
Responsibilities

- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse aides, and interdisciplinary staff
- Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
