Requirements
- A kind, caring, patient-focused attitude
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- A desire to be part of a collaborative, caring team
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Nice To Haves
- No certification is required to get started. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Measuring and recording weights, vital signs, intake/output, and other key data
- Assisting patients with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, oral care, and toileting
- Supporting mealtime needs: preparing patients, serving trays, and assisting with feeding
- Repositioning, ambulating, and escorting patients as needed
- Keeping patient rooms tidy and assisting with cleanliness in storage and utility areas
- Answering call lights and phones, and helping with general communication on the unit
