Our mission is to provide hope, healing, and healthcare to everyone. This is a part-time position/ 24-32 hours per week. The Med-Psych Provider is a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) licensed in both General Adult Psychiatry and a Primary Care specialty (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) in the State of Ohio who provides integrated psychiatric and primary care services within Crossroads Health's Integrated Health Center and School-Based Health Center programs. The position expands integrated healthcare services within the community, as part of Crossroads Health’s strategic priority of becoming a full FQHC. This position is responsible for comprehensive, whole-person care including psychiatric assessment, medication management, primary medical care, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, referrals, and care coordination across the lifespan. The provider works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team and applies trauma-informed, patient-centered practices in all aspects of service delivery. The Med-Psych Provider also serves as the supervising physician and clinical support for Physician Assistant(s) and/or Nurse Practitioner(s) providing primary care services, including consultation, chart review, collaboration, and oversight consistent with Ohio law, applicable supervision agreements, credentialing standards, and Crossroads Health policies.
