Capital Health is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant II for their Endocrinology Specialists practice in Bordentown, NJ. This full-time, day shift position involves preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, recording patient history, obtaining lab specimens, and assisting physicians and staff. The role also includes maintaining exam rooms, managing supplies, performing clerical duties such as patient registration, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records. Additionally, the Medical Assistant II will perform electrocardiograms, point-of-care testing, document information in electronic medical records, and coordinate with front office and ancillary staff. Cross-training for Patient Reception Rep duties is required, as is monitoring the New Jersey Prescription Monitoring Program (NJPMP) under the direction of a Licensed Independent Practitioner. The position also involves performing injections and other assigned duties, with potential reassignment to other Capital Health Medical Group Practices.
