About The Position

Nature's Grace and Wellness is seeking a full-time Mechatronics Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on production, packaging, and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will have an intermediate working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and be comfortable troubleshooting issues to prevent downtime. This is a mid-level position with strong promotion potential.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with material handling equipment (MHE), including automated conveyors and controls.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing preventative maintenance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong technical, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a production environment and respond to equipment issues as needed.
  • Must be able to safely operate tools and maintenance equipment.
  • Must be able to lift, stand, and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work.
  • Must be able to comply with all safety and operational standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous vendor management experience preferred.
  • Associate degree or higher from a vocational school or college in a Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
  • Experience with robotic operation, programming, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated production and packaging equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Perform routine building maintenance and equipment inspections.
  • Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Respond to production-critical issues and provide real-time troubleshooting support.
  • Operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Utilize equipment manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Source and order parts and supplies needed for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as circuits, fuses, relays, switches, motors, pumps, and overload systems.
  • Apply working knowledge of PLCs and/or microprocessor systems to support production operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with all company safety procedures and regulations.
  • Travel between facilities as needed to support maintenance operations.
