About The Position
Relling builds ready-to-deploy robot workcells for US manufacturers, designing and testing systems in San Francisco and deploying them on factory floors. This is a full-time, in-person role in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The Mechatronics Engineer builds, tests, and improves mechanical and electromechanical systems for robotic workcells; works across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces during cell bring-up; diagnoses failures under load; tests fixes; and documents effective solutions.
Requirements
- Experience building and testing physical systems, with clear end-to-end ownership that can be explained.
- Strong mechanical and electromechanical fundamentals.
- Sound engineering judgment.
- A practical debugging approach using calculations, measurements, root-cause analysis, and validation.
Responsibilities
