Requirements

• Requires a BS EE or similar degree with applicable experience.
• 0 -4 years applicable experience.
• Ability to design systems that include mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software integration with support from interdisciplinary team.
• Ability write code with the expectation to build skills to keep current with industry trends.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical and physics disciplines.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of AI / Machine Learning is a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating mechatronic systems as part of an interdisciplinary team with the expectation of providing technical feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• May include mix of analog and digital design working with microcontrollers, sensors, and associated firmware and software.
• Supporting Sr. Engineers in running tests and gathering data to inform design decisions.
• Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Devises new approaches to problems encountered as appropriate.
• Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
• May also review vendor capability to support development.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.
