About The Position

Neogen is looking to hire a Mechanical Validation Engineer who would be responsible for overseeing all equipment installations and operational qualifications for new production lines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and write validation plans. Document results and write reports. Lead and perform validations including but not limited to rooms and equipment. Assure compliance with internal SOP’s and external regulations. Help to foster a quality environment and mindset throughout the business. Strong written and verbal communications skills, excellent attention to detail, and process and system oriented. Continuously works to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of plant wide validation efforts. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 6-10 years’ validation experience or experience in a Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science environment specifically within a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Process and system oriented
