About The Position
Neogen is looking to hire a Mechanical Validation Engineer who would be responsible for overseeing all equipment installations and operational qualifications for new production lines. It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they are doing! Come join a growing organization!
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 6-10 years’ validation experience or experience in a Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science environment specifically within a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, excellent attention to detail, and process and system oriented.
Responsibilities
- Develop and write validation plans.
- Document results and write reports.
- Lead and perform validations including but not limited to rooms and equipment.
- Assure compliance with internal SOP’s and external regulations.
- Help to foster a quality environment and mindset throughout the business.
- Continuously works to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of plant wide validation efforts.
- Other duties may be assigned by management.
