About The Position
Meyer is a growing, family-owned and operated company where you are more than an employee number, you’re family! The main purpose of the Mechanical Technician is to repair and maintain the truck and trailer fleet.
Requirements
- 5+ years of previous experience as a Trailer/Truck Technician. (Required)
- Valid Commercial Driver License class A, with no restrictions. (Required)
- Must be able to handle simple mathematical calculations.
Nice To Haves
- Technical School is a PLUS.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain truck and trailer fleet.
- Keeps equipment Maintained for use by completing preventive maintenance.
- Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing and repairing defective parts.
- Diagnosis, fix trucks and trailers.
- Maintains vehicle records annotating services and repairs in TMT Maintenance software.
