This role involves troubleshooting and performing quality repairs on mechanical, steam, hydraulic, and pneumatic power transmission and drive systems. Responsibilities include removing and replacing components, bleeding air from hydraulic systems, and managing lubricants in mechanical systems. The technician will also repair piping systems, diagnose problems using schematics and measurement devices, and perform sheet metal work for equipment repairs. Effective communication with maintenance, engineering, and production personnel is essential, along with strict adherence to LOTO procedures, PPE usage, and all applicable plant, corporate, state, and government codes and policies. The role requires availability for vacancy coverage and overtime as needed, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
