About The Position
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Mechanical Technician to join our busy auto body shop. In this role, you will handle mechanical repairs related to collision work, including suspension, steering, alignment-related components, engine support parts, and general mechanical systems. You’ll work closely with painters and body technicians to ensure each vehicle is repaired safely, accurately, and on time.
Requirements
- Experience as a mechanical technician
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Nice To Haves
- Auto body experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles involved in collisions
- Perform suspension and steering repairs, part replacements, and adjustments
- Complete pre- and post-repair mechanical inspections
- Work with the body shop team to coordinate repair timelines
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment
