About The Position

This is a contract position for approximately 3 months, from July 27th to October 15th. The role involves training at the Manning location before reporting on-site to the Three-Mile Island Nuclear Plant for a special project. The Mechanical Technician will report to the site supervisor of the project. This is a unique opportunity to work on a new project, with working hours of Monday - Thursday, 44 hours a week. Per Diem will be provided for 7 days a week if the employee lives 50 miles from the site. The role requires strong, mechanically inclined nuclear workers.

Requirements

• Nuclear work experience 3+ years
• 6 months of mechanical work or education
• Mechanical knowledge and ability
• Long handle tool, under water cutting experience 1 month
• Decon tech experience 3 months
• Rigging background
• Respirator fit required
• Pass a nuclear background and drug screen
