Performs highly skilled work that supports the standards of operation and maintenance for the Agency. Position participates in development of SOPs, planning functions and establishing quality assurance /control mechanisms. Position requires extensive knowledge of the theory, principles and practices of the operation and maintenance of water treatment plants and wellfields, and other source water supplies, including the interrelationship between well pumps, plant pumps, treatment equipment and controls. Position requires considerable written, oral, computer communication and analytical skills. Performance is evaluated through periodic conferences, reports and the administrative review process. Water Production Roles: Serves as a support to staff in: Researching methods for improving the Agency in support of the mission, vision and values. Developing and reviewing Agency plans and improvements that support the Agency mission, vision and values. Engineering, Operations, Construction, and other departments as requested.
