Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
  • Excellent trouble shooting ability.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license & good driving record.
  • Must live (or relocate) within 25 miles of the reporting location.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an approved mechanical apprenticeship program or 2 year mechanical technical/vocational degree.
  • Experience in maintenance of crude oil pipeline, tank farm or delivery facilities or certified technical designation.
  • Familiarity with pertinent equipment (pumps, motors, valves, switchgear, programmable logic controls, motor control centers and instrumentation).

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and timely repairs on pipeline system equipment to minimize downtime and throughput loss.
  • Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot mechanical systems including pumps, valves, mixers, seals, motors, fans, and measurement equipment.
  • Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements, company O&M procedures, and DOT regulations.
  • Develop and execute lock-out/tag-out procedures and open-system job plans to ensure safe maintenance practices.
  • Respond as a first responder during emergency situations and participate in required safety and technical training programs, including OQ certifications.
  • Use maintenance management systems (e.g., Maximo) to document work, track equipment history, and support planning activities.
  • Collaborate with technicians, supervisors, and operations teams to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance and improvement work efficiently.

Benefits

  • Salary: Ranges from $29.25 to $41.00 USD per hour for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
