About The Position

Ensure production equipment operates efficiently by performing equipment maintenance on a daily basis. This role requires a self-motivated, experienced, and dedicated individual capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. The technician must be able to work 12-hour shifts and be available for overtime as needed.

Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical problems on industrial equipment.
Experience with MIG welding and Stick welding.
Ability to read mechanical prints.
Experience with troubleshooting and replacing AC and DC drives, temperature controls, and start/stop electrical controls.
Experience with troubleshooting PLCs.
Experience replacing and wiring 3-phase motors.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits.
Ability to read electrical, building, machine, and flow diagram prints.
Basic plumbing skills, knowledge of fittings and thread types.
Knowledge of all safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on industrial equipment, including extruders.
Perform routine preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair gear boxes.
Troubleshoot and replace bearings, chains, belts, and pulleys.
Perform MIG welding and Stick welding.
Drill and tap threaded holes.
Read mechanical prints.
Troubleshoot and replace AC and DC drives, temperature controls, and start/stop electrical controls.
Troubleshoot PLCs.
Replace and wire 3-phase motors.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits.
Read electrical, building, machine, and flow diagram prints.
Perform basic plumbing, including knowledge of fittings and thread types.
Comply with all safety rules and procedures.
Maintain and complete all required records.
Perform other duties as required or assigned by Supervisor.
