About The Position

Responsible for calibrating a variety of test instruments for one or more skill areas, such as: Electrical Equipment, Industrial Equipment, and Temperature Equipment. This role involves performing standards maintenance and checking of company standards if assigned by the Lab Manager. The technician will collect calibration data, record information on data sheets, and complete calibration certifications, including out-of-tolerance conditions. The position also requires continuous training in all aspects of Micro Precision Calibration Services and sharing gained knowledge and best practices with team members. Adherence to safety precautions and quality standards is essential, along with compliance with company policies. Effective communication of calibration issues and procedures with customers and coworkers via phone, in person, and email is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License
Basic mathematics understanding
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in MS Word and Excel
Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Nice To Haves

Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment preferred
Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
