About The Position

We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft. Mechanical Technical Instructor for Bell Training Academy Bring your experience as a mechanic with a high degree of Bell knowledge from maintaining Bell’s aircraft (helicopters) for an operator or at a Bell Service Center. You’ll have experience maintaining but not limited to the following systems: hydraulics, fuel system, powertrain, rotating controls, powerplant systems, and avionics/electrical systems. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and fellow instructors. This role is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting on Bell products.
  • Must possess an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
  • Self-starter, outgoing people person, with great presentation skills.
  • Skilled at using MS Office software.
  • Ability to prioritize work, strong customer comes first attitude, and a positive team player.
  • Excellent communicator that must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, and brief leaders/peers.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare classroom for each class and deliver the presentation of the course materials to the customers.
  • Maintain the Bell Training Academy shop areas in a clean and orderly appearance.
  • Develop and deliver specialized courses for customers, develop a rapport with the customer base to include US based and international customers.
  • Work with the Training Support Development team to update courseware or build courseware as needed.
  • Travel required to present aircraft courses both in the US and Internationally (15%25).
