About The Position

Summit Wash Holdings is seeking detail-oriented individuals with a passion for how things work to join their team as Mechanical Technicians. These individuals will be responsible for maintaining car wash facilities and equipment to ensure they are in pristine working order. This role is crucial for ensuring customers experience a clean, dry, and spotless car. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving and keeping all systems operating efficiently and smoothly.

Requirements

5 - 10 years of plumbing, electrical and commercial building maintenance experience
Working knowledge of single phase and three phase high voltage
Authorized to work in the U.S.
High school diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Willing to work early mornings, evenings and weekends
Intermediate Computer Skills
Self-motivated
Mechanical aptitude or knowledge a must
On-call Shifts as needed
Electrical and plumbing aptitude
Must have your own means of transportation

Responsibilities

Completes preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems.
Follows diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions to troubleshoot malfunctions.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists and hand and power tools.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools.
Controls downtime by informing workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
