Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related engineering field
- 2+ years of mechanical design or technical applications experience within an industrial setting
- Elite phone skills; you must genuinely enjoy the "consultative" aspect of the role and be comfortable handling 20+ technical calls per day
- A solid, consistent work history showing professional growth and reliability
- Strong mechanical intuition and the ability to learn complex, proprietary software quickly
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with heat transfer applications or thermodynamics
- Experience with industrial sales or technical support
Responsibilities
- Serving as the primary technical authority for custom industrial systems, bridging the gap between engineering design and customer needs
- Managing a high volume of technical consultations (20-25 daily) via telephone and virtual meetings to investigate customer requirements
- Applying mechanical engineering principles to analyze data and provide optimized equipment proposals
- Utilizing industry-specific automated software to generate and refine technical quotes in as little as 15 minutes
- Collaborating with the internal sales and engineering teams to solve complex problems and suggest alternative system configurations
