As an ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) Mechanical Test Engineer on the Orion program, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of mechanical integration activities for the Orion spacecraft for Artemis III, IV, and future missions. The work will involve acceptance testing, environmental testing and ground servicing of flight hardware (including fluids & pneumatic systems, mechanical structures and mechanisms) at the assembly, subsystem and spacecraft level of assembly. Test activities will primarily take place at Kennedy Space Center, but the position will be required to support test efforts at other locations for periods of time. Periodic off-shift and weekend work will be required. This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Space Coast, FL , and be expected to work in the office.
