Responsibilities

Carries out advanced checks using checklist, prior to starting equipment and for running equipment
Responsible for the start-up and operation of equipment (e.g. crusher) machines used in production processes
Determines and corrects machine malfunctions of high complexity
Oversees clearing of hopper blockages as per the safety procedures
Ensures throughput and quality standards are achieved
Liaises with key stakeholders in the event of any production stoppages
Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities
