The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for leading electrical installation crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and schedule adherence. This role involves planning and coordinating various electrical installations and upgrades in operational facilities, evaluating existing infrastructure, and developing safe installation sequences to minimize customer downtime. The supervisor will also coordinate outage windows, startup activities, and commissioning efforts, monitor installation progress, and provide regular project updates. Additionally, the role requires technical expertise in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, troubleshooting complex issues, and applying knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLC systems, VFDs, MCCs, safety circuits, and automated material handling equipment. A strong focus on safety and compliance is essential, including leading safety initiatives, enforcing OSHA and other relevant standards, and ensuring work is performed by qualified personnel.
