About The Position

As a Mechanical Solar Installer, you’ll help bring clean power to life by supporting the installation of solar panels, racking, and related hardware to match project specs, company standards, and safety expectations. Your day as a Solar Installer starts with a quick huddle to align on the plan, then you’re on the move—loading up, rolling to the site, and getting set for a fast, focused build. You’ll spend the morning checking layout marks, staging materials, and keeping the work area organized so the crew stays in rhythm. Midday brings steady momentum: coordinating handoffs, keeping tools ready, and staying locked in on clean, precise progress as conditions shift. By afternoon, you’re wrapping punch-list details, tidying the site, and confirming what’s ready for the next push—finishing with the satisfaction of seeing a system take shape in real time.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, dependable, eager to learn
• Detail-minded with pride in quality workmanship
• Clear communication and team-first attitude
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Able to work in all weather, at heights, and lift/move 75+ lbs

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites (including out-of-town/overnight as needed)
• Assist with mounting panels and racking systems per plans
• Use hand/power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Read installation drawings and complete work accurately to requirements
• Work from ladders, rooftops, scaffolds, and lifts when required
• Follow safety policies and report hazards or site concerns promptly
• Support progress through site prep, material handling, and assigned tasks
