About The Position

Perform assembly and disassembly of standard mechanical products.

Requirements

• Must be able to use hand tools correctly.
• Must be able to use torque tools properly.
• Must be able to follow assembly instructions.
• Must be able to replace mechanical components.
• Must be able to perform visual inspections.
• Must be able to conduct basic testing.
• Must know common mechanical assemblies.
• Must know fastener identification.
• Must know basic printer mechanisms.
• Must follow correct assembly procedures.
• Must apply proper torque.
• Must achieve less than 2% rework.
• Must be able to handle items up to 20lbs.
• Must complete assembly and disassembly exercises as part of a practical examination.
