Quality Control inspection and associated documentation of Mechanical systems. This role involves performing initial, follow-up, and final system walk-downs, working closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to industry and customer-specific procedures. The position requires understanding and enforcing regulations, codes, and industry standards for the inspection of plumbing, HVAC, PVC, and PVDF systems, with a specific responsibility for inspecting all hydro-related systems. The role also includes collaborating with key stakeholders to plan and organize construction project activities, discussing work procedures and quality issues, and formulating reports on various aspects including work progress. Effective communication with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's representatives is crucial for facilitating project activities. The position involves representing the company in pre-construction, design, and project meetings, as well as attending operations meetings. A key responsibility is performing final QA inspections on installations, answering technical questions during project execution, and providing technical verification of hardware and configuration of installations per design documents, ensuring equipment and overall system OAT/FAT processes meet expectations.
