About The Position

Step into a leadership role on high-impact healthcare construction projects as a Mechanical Project Manager. In this position, you'll help deliver a major ambulatory care center / dental clinic located at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, with expected mobilization in summer 2026. This position offers the chance to work on meaningful healthcare infrastructure projects within a mission-focused and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing mechanical scopes on projects valued at $5 million or more
Proven experience overseeing multiple projects of varying size and complexity
Candidates must be willing to relocate or spend an extended period of time in Guantanamo Bay.
All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred
Additional coursework in project management, construction management and/or mechanical trades
Background in government, military, or large commercial construction preferred
Design-build project experience highly desirable
Experience working on healthcare facilities such as medical centers or dental clinics preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Primavera P6 preferred (training available)
Familiarity with BIM and CADD experience preferred (training available)

Responsibilities

Directing all on-site mechanical construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project requirements.
Collaborating with superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate day-to-day operations and keep the project on track.
Playing a central role in meeting government standards, staying within budget, and achieving schedule milestones from preconstruction and design coordination through final delivery.
