As the global market leader for future-proof logistics process automation, Vanderlande supports baggage handling operations at more than 600 airports globally, including 12 of the top 20 airports, and provides automation solutions for leading parcel and warehousing customers. We are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer II to support the North American Engineering Airport Department. Vanderlande’s Airport Engineering Department is responsible for the design, specification, coordination, installation support, and commissioning of baggage handling systems throughout North America. The MPE II is expected to independently perform engineering tasks and manage assigned project deliverables while collaborating with Project Lead Engineers, discipline leads, and project stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong technical fundamentals, attention to detail, effective communication skills, ownership of deliverables, and the ability to balance technical, schedule, cost, and customer requirements. The MPE II must be capable of solving routine engineering challenges independently while recognizing when escalation or collaboration is required.
