About The Position

MGC Contractors, Inc. is a 100% Employee Owned Corporation specializing in water and wastewater general contracting. They are seeking a Mechanical/Process Equipment Installer to join their Texas Division in the El Paso area. This role involves installing various types of process equipment and understanding installation processes, rigging, piping, and equipment operation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least Three (3) years to Five (5) year of related water/wastewater industry experience preferred.
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Installing process equipment such as pumps, blowers, clarifiers, water filtration systems, flanged above ground piping, influent fine screens, and aeration basin systems.
• Understanding of the process of equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring.
• Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
• Knowledge of different types of process piping materials and connections, PVC, Steel, SST, and DIP.
• Knowledge of forklift, scissor lift and boom lift operations.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
