About The Position

Redpath is seeking experienced Mechanics and Lead Mechanics for their Great Bear project in Red Lake, ON, Canada. The primary role of the Underground or Surface Mechanic is to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and air-operated equipment, including mobile equipment, hoists, compressors, drills, small tools, and miscellaneous equipment. The primary role of the Underground or Surface Lead Mechanic involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on similar equipment, while also ensuring subordinates' work meets quality standards and tasks are completed safely and in a timely manner. Requirements

Experience as a Mechanic or Lead Mechanic
Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and air-operated equipment.
Experience with mobile equipment, hoists, compressors, drills, small tools, and miscellaneous equipment.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
