About The Position

Founded in 1996, RQC, LLC has grown from a strong presence in Southern California's commercial and government Design-Build sector into a nationwide contractor with active projects across the country. As a full-service Design-Build firm, we manage projects throughout the United States with dedicated field teams assigned on-site. Our expertise lies in delivering fast-paced, ground-up commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary emphasis on Department of Defense (DoD) projects. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Piping Foreman to join our Mechanical Division team on base in Pensacola, FL and surrounding areas. In this role, the Foreman will oversee and coordinate daily pipefitting and plumbing construction operations on-site. Responsibilities include leading assigned crews and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, budget, and schedule. This position also supports overall jobsite operations and may assist the Superintendent with additional scopes of work as needed, all while upholding RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Foreman supervising pipefitting/plumbing crews on commercial or industrial projects with a pipefitting scope of $400,000 or more
  • CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required (training available if needed)

Nice To Haves

  • Additional coursework in construction management, pipefitting, or plumbing trades is preferred
  • 4+ years (or equivalent) of hands-on experience as a journey-level mechanical pipefitter in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments preferred
  • Experience with government, military, large-scale commercial construction, or Design-Build projects is highly desirable
  • Computer literacy (Outlook) preferred, training available
  • Familiarity with BIM software is a plus; training can be provided

Responsibilities
