About The Position

GALT Aerospace is seeking an early-career Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to contribute to collaborative, complex designs of electrical, RF, structural, thermal, and size, weight, and power (SWaP)-constrained systems for airborne, ground-based mobile, and shipborne military command, control, and communication systems. The ideal candidate would have educational and work experience (0-3 years) in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, however experience in one or the other, along with a willingness and desire to learn, is perfectly acceptable. This position is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain experience and knowledge across aspects of engineering and the design process, from concept to production. The Mechanical responsibilities include Mechanical System design, Structural and Thermal analysis, Mechanical System Installation design, hardware development and test, site integration, and post-delivery support. The Electrical responsibilities include basic understanding of circuit and electronics design, ESD-compliance, and BOM generation. Basic knowledge and experience in RF engineering, lab bench equipment (i.e., power supplies, signal generators, spectrum/microwave analyzers) and PCB/PWB/CCA design. Candidate must be professional, have the ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary group in a fast-paced environment, take initiative and own tasks, detail oriented and work hands-on in a lab environment.
