EngeniusMicro is a hardware-focused small business with offices in Huntsville, AL and in Atlanta, GA. Our multi-disciplinary staff of engineers, technicians, and scientists provide research and development engineering services to industry and the Federal Government. Our primary research areas are Additive Manufacturing, MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) / Nanotechnology, and Microelectronics. Requirements

  • Basic Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a cleanroom environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop the organization's products and provide services to external customers.
  • Support design and implementation of mechanical solutions to complex discipline-specific problems; supporting technical programs, projects, or tasks whose technical complexity requires engineering oversight; ensuring that the quality of the program, project or task deliverable meets the established standards or metrics; briefing and leading process teams.
  • Performs design and implementation of microfabrication process flows.
  • Perform analytical modeling, simulation, calculation, and solid modeling of mechanical and microfabricated components and systems.
  • Select components, vendors, and processes for mechanical system integration with micro and nano fabricated devices.
  • Monitor and manage the activities of technicians in the assembly of electrical components and systems as well as fabrication of micro and nano systems.
  • Characterize mechanical system as well as micro and nano device performance and fabrication.
  • Collect, store, manage, and report data associated with assembled electrical systems and microfabrication processes.
  • Research new technologies and systems that can improve the quality, performance, and productivity of company and customer systems and programs.
  • Develop presentations to report research, engineering, and development communication and results.
