About The Position

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician in Peachtree City, GA. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. Design, fabricate and maintain test fixtures, jigs, protypes and 3D printed parts Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment for total Controls, 3D, Repair Center areas Support the set up and maintenance of production areas as needed

Requirements

5+ years’ experience fabricating fixtures and jigs
Experience with a variety of mechanical tools and equipment
Experience with CAD (Solidworks preferred)
Strong interest in 3D printing
Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic work environment
Strong interpersonal skills in verbal communication and attention to detail
Ability to lift/move up to 25lbs; occasionally up to 70lbs
Must be legally authorized to work for the company without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Nice To Haves

experience in a manufacturing type environment a plus
familiarity with machine shop equipment a plus
knowledge of 3D printing a plus
knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel a plus
