About The Position

UTLX Manufacturing LLC, a part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking a safety-conscious Industrial Mechanical Maintenance professional to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining process-related equipment, mechanical power transmission systems, electric motors, compressors, pumps, and hydraulic systems. The position involves installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, with daily tasks including preventative maintenance, responding to trouble calls, and project work within the manufacturing areas. Requirements

• Shop knowledge of PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
• Capable of working at elevated heights, i.e., from ladders, staging, elevated platforms, and lifts.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings and schematics.
• At least one year of experience in an industrial maintenance environment as a Maintenance Mechanic.
• Excellent troubleshooting, fault analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate job-related skills by means of a practical exam assessing knowledge in Hydraulic & Pneumatic, Welding & Rigging, Print Reading, Power Transmission, Lubrication, Pumps and Piping, Mechanical Maintenance, and Shop Machines, Tools and Equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience troubleshooting overhead-cranes, up to 40 Ton capacity, is highly desired.
• Experience with overhead-cranes up to 40 Ton capacity is a plus.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing systems based on blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of assigned equipment components and systems.
• Maintain process-related equipment, mechanical power transmission systems, electric motors, compressors, pumps, and hydraulic components and systems.
• Conduct daily preventative maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
• Respond to trouble calls and carry out project work in all areas of manufacturing.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Develop and maintain positive self-motivation.
• Maintain all required documentation, including drawings, work orders, and equipment history.
