About The Position

The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely providing equipment that is dependable, repeatable, and available for meeting our customer expectations. The Maintenance Technician will constantly search for, recommend, and implement repairs or process changes necessary for Plymouth Tube Trent to continually improve equipment as measured by reduced downtime, increased mean time between failures and reduced time to repair.

Requirements

Industrial Mechanical
Industrial Electrical
PLC diagnosis, repair, and programming (Allen Bradley)
Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
Lubrication technology and application
Basic computer skills
Maintenance Techniques
Manufacturing Excellence
2 Year Electro-Mechanical Technical Degree or Equivalent
Must have experience with Allen Bradley PLC’s.

Responsibilities

Actively participate as part of the maintenance team in the efforts to increase runtime of the entire facility
Execute PM, Proactive, and Predictive maintenance techniques
Breakdown troubleshooting and corrective action
Work Order execution and root cause analysis
Equipment installation and improvement
Hazardous waste management
Inspects and inventories site-generated hazardous waste staging areas
Assists the transfer of site-generated hazardous waste to on-site staging areas
Directs storage of site-generated hazardous waste in the hazardous waste staging areas
Completes annual RCRA Training & DOT Training as needed for managing and maintaining hazardous waste
Conducts inspections of Satellite Accumulation Areas
May be required to load and unload site generated hazardous waste as required for shipping purposes
