About The Position

As a Mechanical Install Engineer, you will help bring some of the world’s most advanced semiconductor technology into production. Your work enables leading chip manufacturers to build faster, more energy-efficient microchips that power everyday technologies and future innovations. At ASML, you will join the Customer Support organization, where installation, qualification, maintenance, and customer collaboration are essential to delivering industry-leading lithography solutions. As a Mechanical Install Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in assembling, installing, and qualifying highly complex systems at customer sites while contributing to ASML’s mission of pushing technology to new limits. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a high-technology manufacturing, field service, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, or similar technical environment.
  • Experience assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex equipment.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and practices.
  • Experience creating technical documentation and service reports.
  • Proficiency using standard computer applications and technical reporting systems.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking when troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders across cultures.
  • Collaborate effectively within diverse teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities, schedules, and customer requirements.

  • This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Responsibilities

  • Install, disassemble, transport, and assemble advanced lithography systems in cleanroom environments.
  • Perform machine qualification activities by following defined procedures and technical specifications.
  • Diagnose mechanical system issues and complete repairs, adjustments, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Evaluate system performance and verify compliance with design and quality requirements.
  • Complete service documentation, technical reports, and work records accurately and on time.
  • Support knowledge sharing and provide guidance to less experienced team members when needed.
