About The Position

Join the City of Novi as a Mechanical Inspector. In this role, you'll perform inspections and plan reviews of mechanical and plumbing (if qualified) installations to ensure compliance with building codes, ordinances, and regulations. You'll work directly with contractors, builders, and residents to make sure every project meets the high standards that Novi is known for. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Michigan driver's license
• Minimum 10 years of field experience
• Registered Mechanical Inspector (Act 407) and Plan Reviewer with the State of Michigan

Nice To Haves

• Plumbing credentials preferred
