About The Position

Temp Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for Mechanical / Hydraulic Technicians for a client in Portland, OR that focuses on renewable energy manufacturing and large rotating machinery systems. This is a temporary project, expected to be three weeks in duration. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with innovative technology and high-performance machinery systems!

Requirements

• Previous experience in hydraulic, mechanical, or industrial equipment assembly
• Experience with hydraulic systems, tubing, and hose installation
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Swagelok fitting installation highly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings preferred
• Experience working on skids, compressors, pumps, or rotating equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support integration of prefabricated components onto HPU and compressor skids
• Install prefabricated hydraulic hoses and tube assemblies
• Mount hydraulic pumps, motors, coolers, and related components
• Perform light mechanical assembly including brackets, bolted assemblies, and fluid filling
• Assist engineering teams during commissioning and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Read and follow mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
• Ensure assemblies are completed safely and accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Other duties as assigned
