About The Position
Supervises and coordinates daily mechanical maintenance activities within a chemical manufacturing environment. Leads craft personnel to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with site, OSHA, and site standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of industrial mechanical experience; chemical facility experience preferred.
- Prior lead or foreman experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and piping systems.
- Must have strong customer service and employee relations skills.
- Must work overtime, call‑ins, and outages as needed.
- Ability to work in hazardous industrial environments.
- Must meet all physical demands of the role

Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise mechanical maintenance crews (mechanics, pipefitters, welders, etc.).
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily maintenance work activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and permit requirements.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance planning, and contractors.
- Review work orders, drawings, and P&IDs.
- Monitor job progress, quality, manpower, and materials.
- Lead toolbox talks, JSAs, and incident/near‑miss reporting.
- Respond to equipment failures and emergency maintenance needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
